1. Intro to Konvo

Konvo is a modern messaging and social platform designed for global users to connect, share knowledge, collaborate, and hang out in Spaces (topic-based communities) and Circles (user-created groups). Our platform offers real-time messaging, community tools, and interest-driven discovery features — all focused on helping users build meaningful digital interactions.

2. Eligibility

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country)
• Have the capacity to enter into a legally binding agreement
• Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws, including the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

If you are using Konvo on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the legal authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account on Konvo:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You agree to keep your login credentials secure
• You are responsible for any activity under your account

You may not:

• Share your account with others
• Impersonate another individual or entity
• Use Konvo for commercial purposes without our written consent

Konvo reserves the right to disable or terminate accounts that violate our Terms or community standards.

4. User Conduct

All users must help keep Konvo safe and inclusive. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post or share content that is obscene, defamatory, violent, hateful, or illegal
• Spread misinformation, engage in fraud, or distribute malware
• Promote discrimination, terrorism, or self-harm
• Violate the privacy of others or share their private information without consent

Konvo uses automated and manual moderation systems. We may restrict, suspend, or permanently ban users or remove content that violates our Terms or policies.

5. Spaces, Circles, Interactions

• Spaces are public or private communities based on topics, interests, or goals.
• Circles are user-created micro-communities for smaller group discussions.
• Moderators within Spaces and Circles are responsible for setting and enforcing rules specific to their communities.

Konvo retains the right to remove Spaces or Circles that violate our platform standards.

6. Content Ownership and Licensing

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share on Konvo. However:

• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, use, distribute, modify, and display your content strictly for operating and improving the platform.
• This license ends when your content is deleted from our servers.

You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences that arise from posting or sharing it.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously. Please review our full Privacy Policy (coming soon) to understand:

• What personal data we collect
• How your data is used and protected
• Your rights over your data

Key Points:

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We use encryption and security measures to protect your account
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time

8. Platform Features and Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other users' accounts
• Use bots, automation, or scraping tools without permission

Some features (e.g., advanced analytics, moderation tools) may be limited to certain users or paid tiers in future updates.

9. Service Availability and Maintenance

We aim for 24/7 access, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Konvo may:

• Be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues
• Change or discontinue features at any time without notice

We are not liable for downtime, lost content, or damages resulting from access interruptions.

10. Termination of Use

We may suspend or terminate your access to Konvo if you:

• Breach these Terms or Community Guidelines
• Create legal or security risks for Konvo or its users
• Use Konvo for malicious or illegal activities

You may also terminate your account at any time. Upon termination:

• Your license to use Konvo ends immediately
• Your data may be deleted or archived according to our data retention policy

11. Disclaimers

Konvo is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy or reliability of content
• The safety of user interactions
• The suitability of the platform for your needs

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Konvo and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Any harm caused by user-generated content or third-party interactions

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. When we do:

• We may notify you through the app or email

Your continued use of Konvo means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Laws
